Terms of use
These terms cover the Caesa app, Caesa Bridge and caesa.cam. By using them you agree to these terms.
Licence
Caesa is licensed, not sold. Your purchase through Google Play gives you a personal licence to use Caesa on Android devices signed in to your Google account:
- Yearly: every feature while your subscription is active. If it ends, you keep the use of every feature released before it ended. Features released afterwards need an active subscription.
- Lifetime: every feature, including future ones, for as long as Caesa is offered.
Caesa Bridge is free to use with Caesa.
You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, redistribute or resell Caesa or Caesa Bridge, or try to get around the licence checks, except as the law allows.
Your equipment and your responsibilities
Caesa is an app for Blue Iris, which you must license separately from Perspective Software. Caesa is independent and isn’t made or supported by Perspective Software. You’re responsible for your Blue Iris server, its users and passwords, your network and reverse proxy, and for using cameras lawfully, including respecting other people’s privacy and any rules about recording beyond your property.
Not a safety system
Caesa helps you see your cameras. It isn’t a monitored alarm or an emergency service, and it depends on your phone, your network, your server and services outside our control. Notifications can be delayed or missed. Don’t rely on Caesa alone where safety is at stake.
Warranty and liability
Caesa is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by your equipment, network or services we don’t control. Nothing here limits your rights as a consumer under UK law, or liability that can’t be limited by law.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date above shows when. Questions: [email protected].
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
